David Mann
David Mann founded TEAM Partners to focus on investing in lower middle market businesses. Previously, David was a Partner at Brazos Private Equity Partners, LLC, a Dallas-based private investment fund that manages approximately $1.4 billion of capital. David has over 20 years of private equity, investment banking and public accounting experience. He has been a private equity investor for over 15 years and has instrumental in completing 24 acquisitions for 13 platform investments across diverse industries including manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, business services and financial services at his prior firm.
Prior to Brazos, David spent six years as an investment banker in New York for Merrill Lynch and Chase Securities. He completed 29 financing transactions and four mergers and acquisitions transactions. David began his career in the audit practice of KPMG.
David earned a dual Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
David is active in the community and has served on a number of private and civic boards. He is currently on the board of directors of the VNA Foundation and on the Accounting Advisory Council at The University of Texas at Austin. He also completed the Leadership Dallas program.
